One of a few trips to Patty & Bun and it’s fair to say that they do in fact serve the best burgers in town. This has now become a frequent spot and the burger of choice on this occasion was the Smokey Robinson. It comes with the usual affair of a soft and class leading brioche bun, excellent beef patty, cheese, lettuce, tomato, their signature smokey mayo however this variant has mounds of caramelised onions and bacon. I’ve had some of their specials here and none have disappointed yet but to compare their menu mainstays, this has now usurped the Ari Gold as our favourite burger on the menu. If you’re making a trip expect a queue, drink some of their unique bottled beer, don’t forget the rosemary fries and always accompany your meal with their famous chicken wings.
